When independent retailers have the right information and the right partners, there’s no limit to what they can achieve.

IAP was formed in 1991 by 11 California and Arizona retailers to help guarantee the economic viability of the independent retailer. Today, located in Greeley, Colorado, IAP is a national agricultural cooperative with global affiliations. IAP has 28 independent owners with locations across the United States with sales exceeding $2 Billion. We represent over 724 PCA’s/CCA’s, 362 retail locations and 4,809 employees across the U.S.
IAP is also a founding member of AgLink International, a global alliance of like-minded independent member organizations across Australia, Canada and Brazil. AgLink members work together to share, collaborate and create prosperity in agriculture globally.
IAP membership has allowed us to be profitable while still being competitive to national accounts. The communication between owners that allows market intelligence to be shared quickly so we can stay on top of ever-changing markets in today’s world environment. The business relationships that allow information to be shared amongst business partners that have become friends has been a great value.

I was kind of apprehensive about joining at first. We went in to our normal suppliers and priced 30,000 gallons of a product, and when we went to buy the product through IAP, it more than paid for our membership.
