Imperial Grain Growers and Rockwood Chemical Co. are pleased to announce the signing of their agreement to merge. Effective today the joined companies will be Rockwood Ag Services, Inc.
The two companies have been a staple in Imperial valley agriculture.
Rockwood Chemical was Founded in 1960 and since its foundation it has been committed to its customers by providing growers with Crop protection products, having certified agronomist on their staff and supplying recommendations, and service.
Imperial grain growers, was founded in 1922 and has been servicing a section of the industry by Providing sales and storage of grain as well as sales and storage of fertilizer.
The new formed company Rockwood Ag Services, Inc. main focus will be to keep providing a professional and efficient service to our customer base while developing new markets and product lines.
I truly believe we have an opportunity to bring tangible value to our existing customers and potential customers. Leveraging on the history of these companies we will continue to do what we know has worked for so many years while at the same time look for opportunities for development and innovation.
For us the future is now, we have to promote the use of sustainable practices, become better stewards of our land and water and I believe being able to provide full and comprehensive programs and product lines puts us in a good position to do so.
